Unjust Treatment for Women, Christians and Jews

Many of these Jews lived in Arab countries for 2000 years.  They predated the Arab invasion of neighboring countries in the Middle East. Jews first lost their freedom to the violence of the Arab sword upon the arrival of the prophet  prophet Muhammad in 622-624 C.E.

The Moslem Bible or the Koran, in its own words, here, confesses to the mistreatment of women, Christian, & Jews. Christians & Jews were the “Ahl al Dhimmi,” oppressed minorities. They gave the” the Jizya and the Kharaj,” discriminatory taxes in total humility. Women were condemned to 2nd class citizenship.
Arab Countries, today, follow the example of Saudi Arabia. The Saudis keep their country Jew free, “Judenrein”. Since the dawn of Islam, Jews were either killed or exiled from Arabia. It is certainly no wonder Arabs, in modern, times fought five wars of extermination against Israel.

There were times when Jews & Christians lived more freely, in peace and prosperity, alongside the Moslems. This occurred when enlightened rulers were the role models. These rulers practiced words of love, not hate. “In the name of God, the Merciful, and Compassionate,” the opening line of every chapter of the Koran was the inspiration.

Even then, these minorities were conscious of their minority status. They never gained equality in the restricted sense Moslems enjoy. Christians and Jews knew the table could turn on them anytime.  The beautiful lines that opened every chapter of the Koran, after all, quite often, were followed with words of intolerance and hatred for the nonbeliever.

To encourage love, peace, democracy and freedom, Moslems, like Christians must, therefore, permanently, clean up the Koran & free themselves of the words of hate.

The Koran discriminates against Christians, Jews, and women.

Instead of giving their Jewish brothers and sisters, respect for setting up the foundation of how to live a good ethical life and learning more from the Jews, Islam, in the end, slanders Jews, and treats them as fearsome opponents.

According to the Koran, what was the Jewish people’s crime for all this?

The Jews did not accept Muhammad as the last and final prophet. Jews questioned his memory of revised Biblical stories that both Christians and Jews tell differently. The Jews, moreover, had a more flexible and questioning approach in their culture, and in the study of the Bible and God, as an example. Abraham, as a shining example argued and negotiated with God in order to save Sodom and Gomorrah. God, in this sense, has to be just. The Moslems and Christians, in stark contrast, believe in what is written in their holy books and condemn anybody who does not believe to hellfire. The open Jewish approach is contrary to an essentially intolerant Muslim approach.

The ties that bind all of humanity and are the basis of civilization and an end to barbarism, are, all of course, found in the Jewish Bible.

“Love thy neighbor as thyself,” “do not kill, steal, lie, bear false witness and envy anything that belongs to your neighbor,” are the basis of what makes all civilizations good and livable.

Christians and Muslims all adopted these words of wisdom and interpreted them in their own way. Sadly, however, most went against the Jews who taught them the ethical rules that govern civilization, proceeded to attack the Jews, and engaged in warfare against one another and their coreligionists.

A major difference exists between Islam and Christianity. At no time do Muslims ever accuse Jews of “killing God.” They are similar, however, in the claim that “Jews killed the prophets” or in generalizing Jews killed the prophets.

A brief summary of the Koran follows here. After that, direct quotations from the Koran will speak for themselves. The quotations from the Koran, like the NT is pure slander. An analysis and expose of the slander is better left to subsequent articles.

To die or believe in Islam is, of course, the only choice for non-believers. Anyone who doesn’t believe is, most often, defined as an idol worshipper. Because of this, the Jew and Christian, the “people of the Book,” “Ahl al Kitab,” does not, theoretically, fall in this category. Still, they are singled out for discrimination, which, many times, borders on violence.

To uphold male rule against women and violently against those members of the opposite sex is a hallmark of the Koran.

The “gardens of paradise” are open to those who fight in the path of God. "Jihad” or “Holy War” against all who do not believe thus causes permanent damage to world peace and the Middle-East in particular.

Muslims are permanently, in the house of war, “dar al harb.” The house of peace, “dar al salaam” does not come until all who do not believe change their religion to Islam.

Muslims may not be as open about their intentions to forcefully convert all to Islam. This is because the Western world is stronger than the Muslim world for now. In this sense, war is deception. Since all must believe, according to Islam, in the true faith of Islam, a general intolerance of different beliefs is widespread. It is for this reason that for over 1500 years of Moslem rule, not one Muslim country believes in democracy, or any of the essential freedoms, some of the more advanced Western countries take for granted.

The Opening Line of Every Chapter of the Koran:

“In the name of God, the Merciful and the Compassionate.”

Single Out Jews and Christians for Discrimination:

  • The Jizya:

"Fight against those to whom the scriptures are given, who believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day, who forbid not what Allah and his apostle have forbidden, and follow not the true faith, until they pay the tribute out of hand and are humbled." Sura: 9:29 1

  • Don't Take Jews and Christians as Friends:

"O you who believe! Take not the Jew and the Christians as friends. They are friends to one another. Whoever of you befriends them is one of them. Allah does not guide the people who do evil." Sura: 5:56 2

Insult of Jews

  • Jews "Slew the Prophets":

"Wretchedness and baseness were stamped upon them, and they were visited with wrath from Allah. This was because they disbelieved in Allah's revelations and slew the prophets wrongfully. That was for their disobedience and transgression." Sura 2:61 3

I-                    The baseless charge of the Jews murder of prophets, as we see, is in the New Testament and was a common theme in anti-Jewish hate literature. Witness Matthew 23:29-38, Luke 11:47-51, and I Thess: 2:14-16. Another source among many of this myth is Justin Martyr, Dialogue with Trypho, in Frank Ephraim Talmadge, Disputation and Dialogue: Readings in the Jewish-Christian Encounter (New York, 1975), p.252

  • On Jews Kill Christ Myth:

"...and for their unbelief, and their uttering against Mary a mighty calumny, and for their saying 'we slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God' Yet they did not slay him, neither crucified him, only a likeness of that was shown to them. Those who are at variance, concerning him surely are in doubt regarding him; they have no knowledge of him, except the following of surmise; and they slew him not of a certainty no indeed; God raised him up to him; God is All-mighty, All-wise.and We have prepared for the unbelievers among them a painful chastisement." Sura IV, 155-160

  • "Usury:"

"And for their taking usury which was prohibited for them, and because of their consuming people's wealth under false pretense. We have prepared for the unbelievers among them a painful punishment." Sura 4:161 4

  • "Slander Religion:"

"Some of the Jews pervert words from their meaning and say, "We hear and disobey," and "Hear without hearing" and "Heed us!" twisting with their tongues and slandering religion. If they had said, "we have heard and obey" or "Hear and observe us," it would have been better for them and more upright. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not except for a few." Sura 4:46 5

  • "Most Vehement Unbelievers:"

"Indeed, you will surely find that the most vehement of men in enmity to those who believe are the Jews and the polytheists. But you will also surely find that the closest of them in love to those who believe are those who say, "We are Christians." That is because there are among them priest and monks, and because they are not arrogant." Sura 5:82 6

  • "Spread Corruption on Earth:"

"The Jews say, 'Allah's hands are fettered.' Their hands are fettered, and they are cursed for what they have said! On the contrary, His hands are spread open. He bestows as he wills. That which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase the arrogance and unbelief of many among them. We have cast enmity and hatred among them until the day of resurrection. Every time they light the fire of war, Allah has extinguished it. They hasten to spread corruption throughout the earth, but Allah does not love corrupters!" Sura 5:65 7

Unbeliever Must Change Religion to Islam or Die:

  • "Surely those who disbelieve in our signs. We shall certainly roast them at a Fire; as often as their skins are wholly burned. We shall give them in exchange other skins, that they may taste the chastisement." Sura, 55-60

  • ".it is not for the Prophet (Mohammad) and the believers to ask pardon for the idolaters, even though they are near kinsmen, after that it has become clear to them that they will be the inhabitants of Hell." Sura IX 110-1

  • ".Take not to yourselves friends of them, until they emigrate in the way of God; then, if they turn their backs, take them , and slay them wherever you find them; take not to yourselves any one of them as friend or helper except those that betake themselves to a people who are joined with you by a compact, or come to you with breasts constricted from fighting with you or fighting their people..If they withdraw not from you, and offer you peace, and restrain their hands, take them, and slay them wherever you come on them; against them We have given you a clear authority." Sura IV 90-95

  • ". Slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them, and confine them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, & perform the prayer, and pay the alms, then let them go their way; God is all-forgiving, All-compassionate. And if any of the idolaters seek of thee protection, grant him protection till he hears the words of God; then do thou convey him to his place of security that, because they are people who do not know." Sura IX 5-10

On Male Rule and Violence Against Women:

  • "God charges you, concerning your children: to the male the like of the portion of two females.." Sura IV,10-15

  • "Men are the managers of the affairs of women for that God has preferred in bounty one of them over another, and for that they have expended of their property. Righteous women are therefore obedient, guarding the secret for God's guarding. And those you fear may be rebellious admonish; banish them to their couches, and beat them. If they then obey you, look not for any way against them." Sura IV,35-40

On the Belief of Jesus as Son of God:

  • ". The creator of the Heavens and the earth-how should He have a son, seeing that He has no consort, and He created all things, and He has knowledge of everything?" That then is God your Lord; there is no god but He, the Creator of everything." Sura IV, 100-105

  • "Say: 'He is God, One, God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, and has not been begotten, and Equal to Him is not any one."  Sura, CXI

Die in the Path of God:

  • "If you are slain or die in God's way, forgiveness and mercy from God are a better thing than that you amass; surely if you die or are slain, it is unto God you shall be mustered." Sura.iii.156

  • ".God leaves not to waste the wage of the believers. And those who answered God and the Messenger after the wound had smitten them to all those of them who did good and feared God, shall be a mighty wage; those to whom the people said, "The people have gathered against you, therefore fear them'; but it increased them in faith, and they said, 'God is sufficient for us." Sura iii.166-170

  • "And those who are slain in the way of God, He will not send their works astray. He will guide them, and dispose their minds aright, and he will admit them to Paradise that He has made known to them." Sura xlvii,4-6
